In this case we upgraded from an old locator denture to a hybrid coping bridge on 6 Nobel Biocare implants (although only showing 4 here in the picture). This wax mockup was created after discussing treatment options with the Dentist and the patient. There was no room for angled abutments because this replaced a locator denture, and the original implants were still viable. We created this mock-up for the purpose of patient education in setting realistic expectations for what the final coping bridge would look like. Once the final restoration is delivered and retained, the holes will be filled with acrylic in the appropriate shade to match the tissue/teeth. We used Kulzer Mondial teeth for the wax mockup.

Hybrid coping bridge in process. Next steps will be to layer anaxdent composite tissue and finish. This seems to be a popular treatment at the moment as we’ve done a lot of these lately. The final will be delivered on 6 Straumann implants.
